Symposium Cafe is an upscale cafe in Waterloo, located across from the Waterloo Town Square. They offer a selection of salad, soup, pizza, sandwiches, entrees, and specialty drinks and desserts. They have a nice outdoor patio in the back of the restaurant which is a little quieter than the front of the restaurant which faces King st. Inside, the tables are surrounded with couches.
Sandwiches and burgers are just under $10.
Casual.
The iced cappuccino was what you would expect of an iced cappuccino. It was a pretty good size, although the tall glass may be deceiving.
This wrap was pretty good. It was mostly plain tasting except for the honey mustard sauce which gave it all the flavor. The fries were really good at first but then deteriorated by the time I was finished.
The burger was delicious. It was everything you expect from a good quality burger. The bun was nice and toasted, and the burger was cooked just right. The fries were the same as the ones that arrived with the crispy chicken wrap.
There is lots of parking at the Waterloo Town Square across the street.
